In 2012, frustrated by local dealers who didn’t stock quality AR-style parts and online retailers with confusing layouts and uncertain inventory, we set out to build something better.

That vision became Dark Storm Industries—an American firearms company dedicated to innovation, compliance, and unmatched customer service. What started in New York has now grown into a premier manufacturer of firearms, parts, and accessories.

Today, we proudly operate from our 13,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Rockledge, Florida, where every DSI firearm is crafted with precision, tested for performance, and backed by our commitment to quality.

Every DS-15 rifle and pistol is built from high-quality domestic materials and rigorously tested for accuracy, durability, and reliability. Our billet and forged lower receivers, precision barrels, and enhanced components are machined in-house to aerospace tolerances and assembled by skilled technicians who take pride in every build.

Innovation & Compliance

When the NY SAFE Act was passed in 2013, we responded by designing and patenting the industry’s only purpose-built Fixed Magazine lower receiver—engineered specifically to comply with the law without relying on workarounds or modifications. With no magazine release milled into the receiver, this platform stood as a true legal innovation and continues to do so today.

Over a decade later, as more states adopt similar restrictions, our patented Fixed Magazine design continues to stand the test of time—offering a compliant, reliable solution for gun owners in even the most restrictive jurisdictions.
