Washington State Compliant Firearms
Dark Storm Industries offers firearm configurations for Washington State customers navigating the restrictions established under HB 1240, including Fixed Magazine Rifles, Fixed Magazine Pistols, and Thunderbolt Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols.
DSI Fixed Magazine Rifles and Pistols use our patented DS-15 fixed-magazine lower receiver, which is manufactured without a magazine-release pocket. The fixed-magazine configuration is built directly into the receiver rather than relying on an aftermarket magazine-locking device and uses a permanently affixed 10-round magazine.
This purpose-built receiver design provides Washington customers with a DS-15 configuration engineered specifically for restricted-state applications while retaining familiar AR-style ergonomics, controls, and features.
Our Thunderbolt Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols provide a manually operated alternative. Thunderbolt firearms are manufactured without a semiautomatic gas system and require manual operation of the action between shots while retaining DS-15 ergonomics and component compatibility.
