Dark Storm Industries offers purpose-built Fixed Magazine Rifles and Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols configured specifically for compliance with the Illinois Protect Illinois Communities Act (PICA).
Our Fixed Magazine Rifles feature permanently affixed 10-round magazines and are designed to avoid prohibited features—making them suitable for lawful ownership under current state law.
Our Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols are exempt from PICA’s semiautomatic firearm restrictions. Built on our billet lower receiver platform and chambered in 5.56, they are fully compliant with detachable magazines and serve as ideal alternatives for utility, precision, and tactical applications.
DSI retained Barr & Klien PLLC, a prominent Illinois based law firm specilzing in Consitutional law to prepare an alaysis of the product and the law. You can download a copy of their analysis letter here.
