Maryland Compliant Firearms

Dark Storm Industries offers a comprehensive selection of compliant firearm configurations for Maryland residents, including HBAR 5.56 Rifles, .308 DS-25 Rifles, Fixed Magazine Rifles, Fixed Magazine Pistols, and Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols.

Any of our standard 5.56 rifles can be configured with a Heavy Barrel (HBAR) to meet Maryland’s legal definition of a compliant rifle. All HBAR rifles from DSI feature a 1:9 twist barrel and a carbine-length gas system, and retain all standard features with no further modification required.

Our .308-caliber DS-25 rifles are not included on Maryland’s banned list and are fully legal with a 10-round magazine.

Fixed Magazine Rifles and Pistols are built with permanently affixed 10-round magazines and are designed to comply with Maryland’s assault weapon restrictions. Our fixed magazine pistols are listed on the Maryland Handgun Roster and are legal for civilian ownership.

Our Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols are exempt from semiautomatic firearm laws. They are built on our billet lower platform and are legal with detachable magazines—making them an excellent compliant option for both utility and precision roles.
