Dark Storm Variant 1 Fixed Magazine Rifle
The Variant 1 Fixed Magazine Rifle is built for compliance in all 50 states, including New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Washington State, and Illinois. With a permanently affixed magazine and patented fixed mag lower receiver, it does not meet the definition of an "assault weapon" in any restricted jurisdiction.
Built on a precision matched billet receiver set, the Variant 1 features competition performance and combat reliability. The Tungsten Cerakote finish over the detail rich design by Ed Earle makes the Variant 1 stand out in a drown of boring black rifles. The Variant 1 includes partial ambidextrous controls and an extended 13" M-Lok handguard for mounting a variety of accessories. The SOCOM profile 16" barrel provides long range accuracy while maintaining a light weight and compact overall length. On the front end an expansion chamber based Competition Compensator nearly eliminates muzzle rise and felt recoil. The Variant 1 includes Hogue rubber over-molded polymer pistol grip and stock for rock solid control in any conditions.
