Each rifle features a permanently affixed 10-round magazine, ensuring it does not meet the definition of an “assault weapon” under many state-level firearm laws. These models are ideal for jurisdictions like Illinois, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington State, and many others, where standard AR-15 configurations are restricted. Fixed Magazine Rifles from DSI are legal in all 50 states.
Despite their compliance-driven design, these rifles retain the fit, feel, and reliability expected from a DSI firearm. Built on our patented Fixed Magazine DS-15 lower receiver, they are compatible with all standard AR-15 components and assembled using all American-made parts.
