Maryland Compliant Firearms
Dark Storm Industries offers several firearm configurations for Maryland customers, including HBAR 5.56 Rifles, DS-25 .308 Rifles, Fixed Magazine Rifles, Fixed Magazine Pistols, and Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols.
DSI standard 5.56 NATO rifles can be configured with a Heavy Barrel (HBAR) for the Maryland market. Our Maryland HBAR configurations use a 1:9 twist barrel and carbine-length gas system while retaining the familiar features and ergonomics of the DS-15 platform.
Our DS-25 rifles chambered in .308 Winchester provide another semi-automatic rifle option for Maryland customers. These small-frame, large-caliber rifles are offered with 10-round magazines for Maryland transfers.
DSI Fixed Magazine Rifles and Pistols use a permanently affixed 10-round magazine and our purpose-built fixed-magazine receiver design. Our Maryland fixed-magazine pistol configurations are listed on the Maryland Handgun Roster, providing an additional DS-15 pistol option for customers in the state.
Our Thunderbolt Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols are purpose-built manually operated firearms with no semi-automatic gas system. Built on the DS-15 platform, they retain familiar AR-style ergonomics and component compatibility while operating as bolt-action firearms with detachable magazines.
