DS-15 Fixed Magazine AR-15 Lower Receivers

Dark Storm Industries developed the patented DS-15 Fixed Magazine AR-15 Lower Receiver as a purpose-built platform for customers in states that restrict detachable-magazine semiautomatic rifles. Unlike conventional AR-15 lowers that rely on locks, blocks, or aftermarket conversion devices, the DSI receiver is manufactured without a magazine release, making the fixed-magazine configuration part of the receiver itself.

The DS-15 fixed magazine lower was developed in response to the New York SAFE Act and has remained the foundation of DSI's compliant AR-15 platforms. The patented design provides a permanent fixed magazine AR-15 lower receiver while maintaining familiar AR-15 ergonomics and compatibility with standard Mil-Spec components.

Customers can choose from both stripped fixed magazine lower receivers and complete fixed magazine lowers, providing options for custom builds as well as ready-to-use lower assemblies.

DSI fixed magazine lowers are available in billet and forged 7075 aluminum configurations. Billet receivers are offered in Black, Flat Dark Earth, Olive Drab Green, and Copperhead Brown, while forged receivers are available in Black. Both are manufactured in the United States, use Mil-Spec Type III hardcoat anodizing, and are compatible with standard Mil-Spec AR-15 components.

Each receiver is built around DSI's patented fixed-magazine design and configured with a 10-round fixed magazine, providing a factory-built foundation for compliant AR-15 builds without relying on an aftermarket magazine-locking device.

DSI fixed magazine lower receivers are offered for customers in restrictive jurisdictions including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington, and California.
