Stripped Fixed Magazine AR-15 Lower Receivers

Dark Storm Industries Stripped Fixed Magazine AR-15 Lower Receivers provide a purpose-built foundation for custom compliant AR-15 builds. Based on DSI's patented fixed-magazine receiver design, each lower is manufactured without a magazine release rather than converting a conventional AR-15 lower with an aftermarket locking device.

DSI developed its patented fixed-magazine lower receiver in response to the New York SAFE Act, passed in 2013. The same core receiver design is used throughout DSI's fixed magazine rifles, pistols, and assembled lower receiver platforms for customers in restrictive states.

DSI stripped fixed magazine lowers are available in forged and billet 7075 aluminum and retain compatibility with standard Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receiver components. This allows builders to select their own trigger, safety selector, buffer system, furniture, and other components while starting with a receiver designed as a fixed-magazine platform from manufacture.

Billet stripped fixed magazine lowers are available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, Olive Drab Green, and Copperhead Brown. Forged stripped fixed magazine lowers are available in Black. Both configurations use Mil-Spec Type III hardcoat anodizing, with Cerakote applied to applicable colored billet receivers.
