New York Compliant Firearm Configurations

Dark Storm Industries offers purpose-built firearm configurations for the New York market, including Fixed Magazine Rifles, Fixed Magazine Pistols, and Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols.

DSI Fixed Magazine Rifles use our patented DS-15 lower receiver design with no magazine-release pocket machined into the receiver. Rather than relying on a removable magazine lock or other workaround, the fixed-magazine configuration is built into the receiver itself and uses a permanently affixed 10-round magazine for New York applications.

DSI Fixed Magazine Pistols use the same purpose-built fixed-magazine receiver concept in a pistol configuration. Availability can vary within New York State. These configurations may be permitted in some upstate jurisdictions but are not offered for Long Island or the five boroughs. Customers should confirm acceptance with their local transferring FFL before ordering.

Our DS-15 Thunderbolt Bolt Action Rifles and Pistols are manually operated firearms with no semi-automatic gas system. Built around the DS-15 platform, they retain familiar AR-style ergonomics and component compatibility while operating as purpose-built bolt-action firearms.

Fixed Magazine Firearms are not offered for New York City. Firearms supplied for New York are configured with 10-round magazines where applicable. State and local firearm laws can vary and change, so customers and transferring dealers should confirm that the selected configuration is permitted in their jurisdiction before transfer.
