BF-10™ Fixed Magazine Loader
The BF-10™ is a purpose-built loading device designed to quickly reload a 5.56 NATO or .300 Blackout fixed magazine DS-15 without separating the upper and lower receivers. Functioning similarly to a stripper-clip loading system, the BF-10™ allows cartridges to be loaded through the ejection port while the firearm remains assembled.
Why It Exists
Some restrictive states regulate semi-automatic rifles equipped with detachable magazines and certain features. DSI's Fixed Magazine DS-15 platform retains familiar AR-15 ergonomics by using a permanently affixed magazine rather than relying on a detachable-magazine configuration.
The BF-10™ Fixed Magazine Loader makes reloading that platform faster and more convenient by allowing the fixed magazine to be loaded through the ejection port without opening the action.
How It Works
- Load cartridges into the BF-10™ through the shaped opening, where a retention tab secures the rounds.
- After the rifle's bolt locks back, insert the BF-10™ into the ejection port and rock it into position.
- Push the cartridges into the fixed magazine by squeezing and sliding the handgrips toward the rifle.
- Once the magazine is loaded, rock the BF-10™ out of the ejection port and press the bolt release to chamber the next round.
The result: faster fixed-magazine reloads without separating the upper and lower receivers.
