The DSI AR-15 Carbine Buffer Spring is manufactured from American 17-7 stainless steel rather than conventional piano wire for durability, consistent cycling, and long service life in compatible AR-15 buffer systems.
The spring is heat treated and electropolished to reduce surface friction and improve long-term wear characteristics. It measures approximately 11 inches in length.
