The Dark Storm Industries DS-25 Hurricane is a 20-inch 6.5 Creedmoor rifle built for shooters who want extended-range performance without the size and weight traditionally associated with large-caliber semi-automatic rifles. Built on DSI’s small-frame, large-caliber DS-25 platform, the Hurricane delivers the ballistic advantages of 6.5 Creedmoor in a rifle that remains compact, balanced, and easy to handle.
At the heart of the Hurricane is a 20-inch MTOP-profile 6.5 Creedmoor barrel designed to take advantage of the cartridge’s velocity, accuracy, and long-range capability. The rifle-length gas system provides smooth operation, while the Competition Compensator helps control muzzle rise and felt recoil. An extended 15-inch free-float M-LOK handguard provides plenty of space for optics, bipods, night vision, and other long-range accessories without adding unnecessary bulk.
The Hurricane pairs its long-range capability with a Magpul PRS Lite stock and Hogue rubber overmolded pistol grip for a stable, comfortable shooting position. At approximately 8.1 lbs., the DS-25 Hurricane provides the reach and performance of 6.5 Creedmoor in a comparatively lightweight and maneuverable package suitable for long-range sport shooting, hunting, tactical applications, or patrol use.
Every firearm is hand-assembled and individually tested at our factory in Rockledge, Florida, using American-made components and materials.
