The DS-15 MOE Maryland HBAR Rifle combines a purpose-built heavy-barrel configuration for Maryland customers with forged receivers, standard AR-15 controls, and Magpul MOE furniture. It is a straightforward, value-focused HBAR rifle designed for customers who want familiar AR-15 handling without the added features of DSI's higher-tier platforms.
The rifle is built around a 16-inch HBAR-profile 5.56 NATO barrel manufactured from premium 4150 CMV steel. The barrel uses a 1:9 twist, carbine-length gas system, and black nitride heat treatment for durability and corrosion resistance. An A2 birdcage flash hider completes the traditional AR-15 configuration.
Magpul MOE furniture provides a comfortable, proven interface, while DSI's forged upper and lower receivers, Mil+ bolt carrier group, and upgraded carbine buffer system provide the core components for reliable operation.
