DS-15 Variant 1 Maryland HBAR Rifle
The DS-15 Variant 1 Maryland HBAR Rifle combines a purpose-built Maryland heavy-barrel configuration with the distinctive billet design and competition-focused features of the Variant 1. Built around a precision-matched 7075-T651 billet receiver set, the rifle features a 16-inch HBAR-profile 5.56 NATO barrel, Tungsten Cerakote finish, and premium controls for a modern Maryland HBAR AR-15 platform.
Designed by Ed Earle, the Variant 1 features detailed billet receivers, partial ambidextrous controls, a 13-inch M-LOK handguard, and a premium two-stage flat-blade trigger with a 3.5 lb pull. The 16-inch heavy-profile barrel uses a 1:9 twist and carbine-length gas system, while the DSI Competition Compensator helps reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil.
