The Dark Storm Industries DS-25 Hurricane New Jersey Post-Ban Rifle is built for shooters who want the extended-range capability of 6.5 Creedmoor without the size and weight traditionally associated with large-frame semi-automatic rifles. Built on DSI’s small-frame, large-caliber DS-25 platform, the Hurricane combines a 20-inch barrel, long-range furniture, and a compact receiver package for a rifle that remains balanced and maneuverable.
The 20-inch MTOP-profile 6.5 Creedmoor barrel is designed to take advantage of the cartridge’s velocity, accuracy, and long-range capability. A rifle-length gas system provides smooth operation, while the 15-inch M-LOK handguard offers plenty of room for optics, bipods, night vision, and other accessories without unnecessary bulk.
For the New Jersey Post-Ban configuration, the Hurricane is equipped with a pinned and welded DSI Competition Compensator. A Magpul PRS Lite stock and Hogue overmolded pistol grip provide a stable shooting position for long-range use. At approximately 8.1 lbs. and 41 inches overall, the DS-25 Hurricane delivers the reach of 6.5 Creedmoor in a comparatively lightweight, compact platform.
Every firearm is hand-assembled and individually tested at our factory in Rockledge, Florida using American-made components and materials.
