DS-15 Variant 1 Fixed Magazine Rifle
The DS-15 Variant 1 Fixed Magazine Rifle combines Dark Storm Industries' patented fixed magazine design with a precision-matched billet receiver set, competition-focused components, and distinctive Tungsten Cerakote finish. Manufactured without a magazine release and equipped with a permanently affixed 10-round magazine, the Variant 1 is purpose-built for customers in restrictive states while retaining familiar AR-15 ergonomics and handling.
DSI currently offers the Variant 1 Fixed Magazine Rifle in all 50 states under its current compliance determinations, including restrictive jurisdictions such as New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Washington State, and Illinois.
Designed by Ed Earle, the Variant 1 features detailed billet receivers, partial ambidextrous controls, a 13-inch M-LOK handguard, and a 16-inch MTOP-profile barrel. A DSI Competition Compensator uses an expansion-chamber design to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil, while Hogue overmolded furniture provides a secure, comfortable interface.
